OUR ALPINE RACE AGE GROUPS

u8's

Our U8 program is for 6 and 7 year olds. Children entering this program should be able to ride the rope tow and have been skiing for at least 1 season. The season is spent learning basic ski fundamentals, including turning technique and exposure to gates.

u10's

Our U10 Program is for 8 and 9 year olds. Athletes will begin learning race specific fundamentals and have the chance to compete in a few local races. We focus on lots of skiing with our U10's to give them a strong skiing base.

u12's

Our U12 program is for 10 and 11 year old athletes. At this point there will be an increased focus on training in gates and working on race-specific techniques and tactics. At this age racers will compete throughout our region and have a chance to qualify for a state and regional level of competition.

u16's

We do offer training to U16 athletes on Thursday nights. This is an opportunity for athletes who have grown up through our program to get more structured hill time and stay connected with our team as they pursue racing in high school and beyond.
