Learn to Ski
For Ages 4-7

Tuition & Rates

Our mission is to make skiing safe and affordable for everyone. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and donors, we’re able to offer tuition assistance to skiers who require support. This assistance is made possible through fundraising efforts and is offered on the honor system to help keep skiing accessible to all.

Full Tuition
Full tuition is the price of operating the Abenaki Outing Club’s four ski programs. This price is what it takes to set-up, run, and maintain the mountain for practices and events and fund our non-volunteer staff and coaches. Payment plan available.

Cost: $200

Partial Scholarship

Same as full tuition, but the partial scholarship option is subsidized by our fundraising.  This option should only be selected if you need support as we want to ensure our limited resources go to those who need it most. Payment plan available.

Cost: $150

Registration Fees

We accept credit card and ACH payments. Please note: a 3.5% fee applies to credit card payments. ACH payments have no fee.

Lessons Information

One hour group lessons limited to 20 participants with a child-to-instructor ratio of 5 children to 1 instructor. Practices are held on Saturdays for five consecutive weeks.  Select from three time options at registration, space permitting:

  • 8:30–9:30am

  • 10:00–11:00am

  • 11:30am–12:30p

Lessons take place while the Alpine Race Team practices on the main hill.  Please note: Abenaki is closed to the public until 11am on Saturdays, so early lesson participants will need to wait until then to resume skiing.

Equipment Rentals

Equipment rentals are available at an additional cost in partnership with Ski Works in Ossipee, NH.

Abenaki Season Pass

All participants are required to purchase an Abenaki Ski Area season pass by their first lesson.  Passes are purchased directly from Wolfeboro Parks & Recreation.  To purchase a pass go to:  https://www.wolfeboronh.us/parks-recreation

Scholarships

If the partial scholarship tuition or other costs such as equipment or season passes are a concern, please contact our Executive Director, Scott Martineau, at abenakiski@gmail.com. We offer individual scholarships to ensure every child can participate, regardless of financial circumstances. All inquiries are kept strictly confidential.

The Abenaki Ski Team is funded entirely by dues and fundraising.  The mountain is supported through the Town of Wolfeboro, the Abenaki Outing Club and the Friends of Abenaki, which are 501(c)(3)s.
