Since 1936

Everybody
starts at
the rope tow.

Aynne de Beer started the ski team with her husband, Andre, in 2010, with the purpose of bringing affordable and accessible ski racing to the local youth.

The short version

  1. 1936

Trails are cut on Pine Hill in Wolfeboro.

  2. 1940

The rope tow and the lodge are up. Abenaki is one of the oldest small ski areas in America.

  3. 2010

Aynne and Andre de Beer start the ski team to bring affordable, accessible ski racing to local kids.

  4. 2014

The club becomes a US Ski & Snowboard recognized program.

  5. Today

Four programs on a town-owned hill. Nearly half our athletes are the first skiers in their family.
