New event for 2026-27.

Overview

New this season: a NHARA-sanctioned U10 Combi at our home hill. Seth promises it will be wicked fun.

A combi is two runs on the same day: one down a giant slalom course, where the gates are set far apart and the turns are long, and one down a slalom course, where they are close together and the turns are quick.

The two times are added together, and the total is the result. U10s race both on the multi-event skis they train on, so there is no second pair to bring.

Registration

How to register has not been posted yet.

Families register their own racer. Coaches do not enter anyone. Sanctioned, so a racer needs current US Ski & Snowboard and NHARA memberships.

Spectators

Where to watch

Stand along the fence on the lodge side of the finish. You will see the last four or five gates and the finish from there.

Stay off the course and out of the rope tow line while racers are running. A course worker will wave you across between runs.

Parking

Parking is on the town side of the hill, in the Pine Hill Road lot. It fills by 8:30 on a race morning; carpool if you can.

Lodge

The lodge is open all day for warming up, restrooms and the snack bar. Racers stage inside, so keep the doorways clear.

Weather

Races are seldom canceled for weather. Dress for cold, wind and sleet, and bring something to stand on.

Instruction for your job is given on the morning of the event. Be prepared for cold, wind, sleet and rain.
